Training: ‘Evaluation and MRV of Energy Savings and Efficiency Measures’
This workshop brought together energy efficiency practitioners with MRV practitioners from partner countries of the Partnership to enhance the understanding of the main elements and practical tools for evaluating energy savings and related GHG emissions. Moreover, the training offered room for experience exchange and the presentation of good practices.

‘Good practice’ examples for reducing greenhouse gases
When operationalising their NDCs, countries can learn from each other and benefit from experiences made elsewhere. Therefore, the International Partnership on Mitigation and MRV aims to bundle, analyse and distribute information on good practices related to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and MRV systems. An important tool in this regard is the Global Good Practice Analysis (GPA).
Mexico: Post-Paris Discussions and Actions

Promoting leadership on transparency in climate change policy
‘MRV’, ‘leadership’ or ‘coalitions’ were the buzzwords at the Intl. Partnership on Mitigation and MRV Summer Retreat in Mexico this year. Discussions have resulted in a knowledge product that aims to show that a coalition of leading countries in Measurement, Reporting and Verification (MRV) can be an effective way to ensure countries rise above the floor of minimum requirements of transparency of their climate actions.
