Benefits of Climate Transparency
This paper aims to explore the potential benefits that robust and self-sustained transparency systems can bring to governments. Using examples from developed and developing countries, this paper highlights how transparency unlocks benefits that go beyond fulfilling reporting requirements and can support Parties in their transition towards net zero and climate resilient development pathways.

NDC Progress Indicators: a guidance for practitioners
This paper aims to provide assistance to countries in their selection of National Determined Contribution (NDC)-related indicators for their first Biennial Transparency Reports (BTRs). It takes a thorough approach by presenting a range of potential indicators, specifically tailored to commonly employed NDC targets encompassing both mitigation and adaptation efforts.

Climate Action and Transparency under the Paris Agreement
This guidance note provides an overview of what countries need to do under the Paris Agreement in terms of preparing and regularly updating their climate targets (Nationally Determined Contributions, or NDCs), tracking progress in implementing and achieving them (transparency), and the role of Long-Term Low Greenhous Gas Emission Development Strategies (LT-LEDS or LTS) in achieving the mid-century temperature goals under the Paris Agreement.
Available in: English and Portuguese.
Good Practice Study on GHG-Inventories for the Waste Sector (updated version)
The purpose of this study is to support the preparation of GHG inventories in the waste sector through good practice examples which can be adopted in other countries. This report complements the existing reporting guidance under the UNFCCC with real life examples in the waste sector from different countries.

Updated: Biennial Update Report (BUR) Template (updated version)
The Biennial Update Report (BUR) Template is intended to support the preparation of BURs by non-Annex I Parties, thereby enabling these Parties to submit ambitious reports and to present information in a consistent, transparent, complete, and accurate manner (to the extent possible). In particular, the guiding information included in this document reflects best practices of ambitious reporting. Parties may adapt this template for their own use depending on the different national circumstances.
