Lessons Learned from first Biennial Transparency Reports: Experiences with the Modalities, Procedures and Guidelines under the Enhanced Transparency Framework

This report summarises the experiences shared by participants with regard to the prepara tion of the BTR1, and their suggestions for improvements in the preparation of the BTR2. It also contains views of participants on two other processes under the ETF, namely the TER and the FMCP. The report additionally presents results of the discussions on linkages with other processes under the Paris Agreement, namely the preparation of NDCs and the GST. Finally, it addresses technical challenges and practical solutions in the application of the MPGs, in cluding the results of a first exchange on topics for the upcoming MPG review, no later than 2028.
