The 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories provide methodologies for estimating national inventories of anthropogenic emissions by sources and removals by sinks
of greenhouse gases. The guidelines were prepared in response to an invitation by the Parties to the
UNFCCC.

This handbook intends to provide non-Annex I Parties with a strategic and logical approach to a sustainable inventory process.
