Good Practice in the MENA Region
The GIZ project Policy dialogue and knowledge management on low emission development strategies in the MENA region conducted a good practice analysis of IKI projects in the MENA region. The aim of this analysis was to identify activities which contribute to low carbon development and are also transferable to other MENA countries or other regions. In the first round, five projects have been identified as outstanding examples of good practice in the field of climate projects. For the purpose of valuing and sharing experiences, how to overcome barriers and to enable the project’s success, a factsheet for each identified good practice was designed.
Second Peer-to-Peer Workshop Summary Report
The Peer-to-Peer Exchange Workshop brought together representatives of the Information Matters partner countries Chile, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ghana, Georgia, the Philippines and Vietnam as well as from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the Umweltbundesamt (German Environment Agency, UBA). During the workshop, partner countries had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge for reporting under the UNFCCC as it enabled participants to share their expertise on the various stages of BUR preparation as well as participation in the ICA process.

What is the difference between these features and the (accompanying) information for clarity, transparency and understanding (CTU)? What are the implications of such features and CTU information for accounting? How do features and accompanying information relate to the transparency modalities, procedures and guidelines and to the ambition mechanism associated with the global stocktake (GST)?
