Baku High-Level Dialogue on "Advancing Climate Transparency through Universal Participation in the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF)" [September 3 | Baku, Azerbaijan]
On September 3rd, the Republic of Azerbaijan, as the COP29 Presidency hosts the High-Level Dialogue: Advancing Climate Transparency through Universal Participation in the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF) in Baku.
At the Dialogue, the Presidency will launch the Baku Global Climate Transparency Platform (BTP) initiative. This platform aims to augment global efforts to combat climate change, bringing together key stakeholders from around the world to deepen collaboration, strengthen trust and enhance transparency of climate action. The Partnership on Transparency in in the Paris Agreement (PATPA) will attend the workshop. In collaboration with the Initiative for Climate Action Transparency (ICAT), PATPA will moderate a working session titled "Transparency and climate action: building trust and raising ambition", offering a space for exchange and providing insights into effective transparency practices and strategies.
