The Partnership engages in various activities designed to promote political dialogue, knowledge exchange, peer-to-peer learning and capacity building related to transparency on climate change issues. It operates at the regional level in five groups, of which some are linguistically specific, and at the global level through meetings and conferences. Also, our partnership regularly offers web-based formats for knowledge exchange and capacity-building.
Besides organising its own activities, the Partnership also regularly contributes to other partners’ activities.
Partnership Global: At the global level, the Partnership regularly invites policymakers and other climate experts to high-level Partnership Meetings and Annual Partnership Retreats. Furthermore, we organise capacity-building for stakeholders worldwide.
Partnership Regional: To develop capacity and promote peer-to-peer learning, we organise technical workshops in five regional and language groups:
- The Anglophone African Group
- The Asian Regional Group
- The Regional Group for Latin America and the Caribbean (Spanish-speaking)
- The Francophone Cluster for French-speaking countries
- The Lusophone Cluster for Portuguese-speaking countries
In-country support: The Climate Helpdesk provides ad-hoc support to countries for NDCs, LT LEDS and transparency systems
