Second Peer-to-Peer Workshop Summary Report
The Peer-to-Peer Exchange Workshop took place from 3-4 April 2017 in Dessau, Germany. It brought together representatives of the Information Matters partner countries Chile, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ghana, Georgia, the Philippines and Vietnam as well as from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the Umweltbundesamt (German Environment Agency, UBA). During the workshop, partner countries had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge for reporting under the UNFCCC as it enabled participants to share their expertise on the various stages of BUR preparation as well as participation in the ICA process. The event further provided a forum for partner countries to deliver feedback to GIZ on the project implementation of Information Matters and to discuss lessons learned. This report gives an overview of the presentations and activities of the workshop and summarises the exchange of experiences between the participants.
