PATPA’s Regional Group Asia Virtual Seminar: “Quality Control and Quality Assurance (QA/QC) - Learning from countries' experiences”
The PATPA Regional Group Asia will hold a virtual seminar exploring QA/QC processes in the region, set to take place on May 12, 2021, 09-10:30am CEST as a follow up-event to the virtual regional workshop held in December 2020.
The previous workshop showcased a heightened interest in obtaining insight into further details and additional country experiences on national QA/OC processes. Therefore, this upcoming virtual seminar will allow participants to delve deeper into the topic and provide an opportunity for an open exchange and peer-to-peer learning.
The virtual seminar will have the following 3 elements:
a) Country experience shared by the Philippines
b) Further details on the national QA process by Japan
c) Strengthening the network and peer-to-peer learning in Asia
The event is organized by the Partnership on Transparency in the Paris Agreement (PATPA) and supported the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the Greenhouse Gas Inventory and Research Center of Korea (GIR) on behalf of the Korean Ministry of Environment, the Global Support Programme (GSP) jointly implemented by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
