1st PATPA cross-regional workshop for the Lusophone Cluster and the Latin America & the Caribbean Regional Group
The PATPA secretariat is pleased to announce the realization of the first cross-regional workshop between the Latin America and the Caribbean Group and the Lusophone Cluster!
We cordially invite you to save the date for this event, which will take place on October 12th-14th 2022 in Lisbon, Portugal.
The workshop will provide a platform for attendees to exchange with their peers about experiences, challenges and lessons learned on the synergies, parallelisms and co-benefits of adaptation and mitigation measures. It will also allow participants to better comprehend the development cycle for adaptation and mitigation measures, from their very conception and formulation to their monitoring and evaluation phase. Moreover, the workshop will improve participants’ technical understanding of reporting as part of BTRs, in line with the modalities, procedures and guidelines (MPG) for the transparency framework.
The UNFCCC and PATPA focal points have nominated one mitigation and one adaptation expert for their respective country to take part in the three-day workshop.
