The Latin America and Caribbean Regional Group is a platform for countries in the region to share their experiences. The group was established during its first regional workshop, held in March 2014. Since then, climate change practitioners and negotiators from the region have gathered for several workshops. Focal points of currently 15 countries which currently make up the group have been involved in identifying topics for future activities. Activities focus on sharing best practices, knowledge management, peer learning and capacity building.
The group is open to all countries with an interest in learning about the topics of the Partnership on a peer-to-peer basis. The working language of this regional group is Spanish.
