LAC Regional Workshop on Greenhouse Gas Inventories, 23-25 July
The PATPA Latin America and Caribbean Regional Workshop will take place from 23rd to 25th of July 2024 in Bogota, Colombia. The workshop will focus on the advancement of country’s first Biennial Transparency Report (BTR) with a particular focus on Greenhouse Gas Inventories (GHGs). In the practical sessions, remaining challenges and best practices on the last mile of drafting the first BTR, which is due by 31 December 2024 will be addressed and discussed in a confidential setting. The three-day workshop will be hosted by the Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental Studies (IDEAM) of Colombia and is organized jointly by the Capacity-building Initiative for Transparency - Global Support Programme (CBIT-GSP), Partnership on Transparency in the Paris Agreement (PATPA), and the Government of Colombia.
El Taller Regional de PATPA para América Latina y el Caribe tendrá lugar del 23 al 25 de julio de 2024 en Bogotá, Colombia. El taller se centrará en el avance del primer Informe Bienal de Transparencia (BTR, por sus cifras en inglés) del país, con atención particular a los Inventarios de Gases de Efecto Invernadero (GEIs). En las sesiones prácticas, se abordarán y debatirán en un entorno confidencial los retos pendientes y las mejores prácticas en la última etapa de la redacción del primer BTR, que debe presentarse antes del 31 de diciembre de 2024. El taller de tres días será acogido por el Instituto de Hidrología, Meteorología y Estudios Ambientales (IDEAM) de Colombia y está organizado conjuntamente por CBIT-GSP, PATPA y el Gobierno de Colombia.
